I began carving with some cheap hand tools and a love for
creation. I soon realized that cheap tools just wouldn’t cut it.
After becoming better equipped I was on my way.
I have always had a creative side but until I began carving I had
not discovered my passion. Now, looking back, it makes sense
that wood would be my medium. I grew up in Northern Michigan
in an area steeped in craftsmanship -- two craftsmen being my
father and grandfather, both of which use wood for their craft.
I now reside in North Georgia with my wife and 4 year old
daughter.
